Israel is not only a land for the spiritually minded. As a citizen of South Africa I have visited the land several times and have always been intrigued by its beauty. Not only with regards to history, antiquity and its connection with Scriptures, but also with regards to its landscapes, rivers, mountains and hiking possibilities. The book, 100 Fun Walks in Israel, has been compiled to assist those who are interested in undertaking relatively short, fun walks in this land. It contains interesting facts, maps and other useful information that may be of great value to those who would like to start walking the Land, without biting off more than they can chew. The following is a short excerpt from its introduction.
Many years of interaction with people and places in Israel has convinced me that the inherent attractiveness of this land can only be fully experienced with the maximum use of one’s senses – like feeling the pulse of remote paths in the forests and wilderness areas, hearing the sounds of an Israel market and tasting and touching the things that add to the life-spice of this land.
The book “100 Walks in Israel” is available at our Online Shop, and also on Amazon.com.
