Although millions of people who have heard of Y’shua would say otherwise, the life of Y’shua of Nazareth was one of the greatest revelations this world has ever seen. In the four books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, the word “reveal” or “revelation” occurs more than 20 times. To reveal things at the appropriate time, is one the Creator’s primary ways of becoming involved with the people of this world. One can see this in a verse like Luke 12:2: “There is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.” It is ironic that the prominent and educated ones of this world are often not open to the idea of revelation, but that the ordinary and modest ones find it easy to embrace the same revelation with heart and soul. This is what Y’shua experienced, and caused Him to pray to his Father in Luke 10:21: “I praise you, Father, Master of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the clever and learned ones and revealed them to little ones.” Against this background, we shall look at the last 8 of at least 50 reasons presented to us in the Messianic Scriptures, in answer to the very important question: WHY WAS Y’SHUA OF NAZARETH REVEALED AS THE ESSENTIAL MEDIATOR FOR US TO BE RECONCILED WITH YAHWEH?

To summarize: Y’shua came as the fulfilment of prophecies such as Isaiah 40:5 (“The greatness of Yahweh will be revealed, and all flesh will see it”); Isaiah 53:1 (“To whom has the arm of Yahweh been revealed?”) and Isaiah 56:1 (“My righteousness is near to be revealed”). As we discover more and more aspects of Yahweh’s plan of salvation for this world through the words and works of Y’shua, we become better equipped – not only for the kingdom that lies ahead, but also for our lives here and now – in word and wisdom and service and witness, while we are standing firm in belief, looking forward to the (next) revelation of our Master, Y’shua the Messiah (1 Corinthians 1:5-7).
