General rules for blogging

From time to time, we shall post contributions on various key topics or some events of particular interest. You are encouraged to post your own comments and take an active part in the discussion thread of your choice. A friendly request: Please stick to the subject and try, as far as possible, not to get side-tracked into arguments that have nothing to do with the original Blog content. If you want to express criticism about the posts or remarks of others, keep your comments constructive and refrain from any form of personal attack, crude language or blasphemy. You are welcome to include links to other web pages, as long as this has a bearing to the subject of discussion. Bloggers are not allowed to advertise products and services on this page, disassociated with the subject of discussion and the administrators of this website will, without hesitation, withdraw any contribution that does not adhere to these basic conditions. People from all backgrounds are encouraged to take part in the discussions on this Blog page – this is a unique opportunity to link up with others with similar convictions of belief who may be battling with the same kind of questions and life issues as you do!  Contributions in English or Afrikaans are most welcome – but even posts in other Google translatable languages will be accepted.  If you would like to propose a particular Blog subject, please contact us via email. You may want to make use of a Gravatar (or something similar) before taking part in our discussions, but this is completely optional. A Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. It may be a photo of yourself, or any other picture or image that you would like to be associated with. You can set up your own Gravatar within minutes by clicking on this link.
