Just want to make sure about fasting: fasting means no eat or drink. Fasting starts at sun rise to sundown? Is this correct?
Sorry for asking so much questions, I want to do these feasts the right way YaHWeH told us to do.
The Hebrew word for fasting implies that nothing should enter the mouth and it is usually understood to be from sunset to sunset – i.e. 24 hours (see Lev 23:32). The fast of Yom Kippur (literally: “the affliction of one’s soul”) is the only compulsory fast in Scriptures and is determined to last from sunset of the ninth day of the seventh month to sunset of the tenth day of the seventh month.
